At First United Church, education is more than just learning about dates and scripture passages, though these things may be important. For us the goal of education is spiritual growth and maturity. It means growing in our faith in God and becoming ever more aware of God's presence in our lives so we can go out into the world to love and serve our Lord with grace and compassion.
We offer opportunities for people of all ages to grow in faith and compassion for God's creation. We believe our faith in God must continually grow and gain new understandings by studying the scriptures and traditions, and listening to one another's faith stories.
