Table of Contents Worship Style / Open Communion
Worship Style / Open Communion We offer a traditional style of Reformed Christian worship with a full choir September through June, and biblical preaching that attempts to bring the guidance of the scriptures to our every day lives.
Everyone is welcome to participate in all aspects of worship, including holy communion. There are no membership requirements to partake of communion at First United Church. All who trust in Jesus are welcome to the table.
Parents are encouraged to guide their children when participating in communion so they may know of it's meaning and purpose.
During the school year (September through June) we offer regular Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. If worship is cancelled due to inclement weather, we make every effort to have the cancellation listed on local news channels.
In addition, during the school year we offer Sunday School for adults from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and for Kindergarten through 5th grade during worship, following the Time With Children, approximately 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Youth in 6th grades and above are encouraged to participate in the worship life of the faith community by being present to Sunday morning worship. Education is offered for youth 6th-12th grades through the United Angels Youth Fellowship, which meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month. Call or e-mail the church office for more infomation.

During the summer (July and August) we offer regular Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m. (to beat the heat!). There is no Sunday School during July and August.
Our beautiful sanctuary is available for weddings to both members and non-members, though are additional fees for non-members. It is our policy that our pastor officiate at all weddings on our premises. Please download our Wedding Information Packet (MS Word) or contact the church office to request a packet be sent to you. Simply complete the form and mail to the church office at the address below and our pastor will contact you upon receipt. If you or a member of your family would like to baptized, please download our Baptism Information Packet (MS Word) or call the church office to request a packet be sent to you. In this packet is information about what Presbyterians hold true about baptism and what it means for us as a community of faith.

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) practices infant baptism under the belief that God's Spirit works in all of us, starting before birth. At the end of the packet are request forms for both child and adult baptism. The forms may be completed in MS Word, printed and mailed, or you may print them out and complete them by hand.
Simply complete the appropriate form and mail it to the church office at the address below and our pastor will contact you upon receipt. All baptisms must be approved in advance by session which meets the fourth Wednesday of every month except July.
